Stone Night 2026: 60 years of Marmi Rossi, 60 times thank you

Sixty years are a milestone that calls for a toast and should above all be celebrated together.

That's why on Thursday, September 24, 2026, right in the middle of the Marmomac week, we met at Monteleone21, the new home of the Masi winery in Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella, for Stone Night 2026: we dedicated the evening to all the people who made our story possible.

From the workshop in Ponton to the world market

You already know our story: it began in the summer of 1966, when Dad Maurizio—full of enthusiasm and without any special experience with marble—decided that his four eldest children should work in a small workshop in Ponton. Afterwards we moved to Volargne and Cavaion, transformed our business into a joint-stock company, and went from the sale of tiles to the distribution of Brazilian quartzites, while expanding to overseas markets.

But we don't want to tell you everything all over again (if you're curious, you can read the story here), because this year we want to focus on something more important: the people.

"[...] We have always tried to keep up with the development of taste, fashion trends, and above all, the demands of an ever-changing market.
At the same time, our horizons have expanded: first it was Germany, then across Europe, and all the way to the overseas markets.
But I think the most important thing is what hasn’t changed.
Our way of working hasn't changed: we try to work well, with quality, precision, punctuality, and a focus on innovation. In particular, our spirit and attitude with which everything started haven't changed. [...]
For me, these 60 years don't just mean halls, machines, or revenue, but first of all the story of my family, of the people who have worked with us, and of all those who have entrusted us with their confidence over time.
Thank you! "

– Giovanni Rossi –

A single word: thank you

A company doesn’t grow on its own. If Marmi Rossi is recognized today as a leading name in the stone industry in Italy and abroad, we owe it to the many people who have been involved in our success in different ways.

Thanks to our family, who started the journey, and to all the family members who today continue this path, generation after generation, with the same vision as Grandpa Maurizio.

Thanks to our employees who have been with us their whole lives, and to those who have just joined: in the sawmill, in the warehouse, in the office – every day you shape what we promise to our customers.

Thanks to our customers who have stayed loyal to us for sixty years and keep challenging us, pushing us to grow and to always look ahead to the future.

Thanks to our partners and suppliers who accompany us in quarries, who help us during transport, and with all the challenges that a company like ours must face every day.

An unforgettable evening

The evening went by far too quickly between music and surprises: the DJ set entertained the guests all night, and the singer's voice along with the dance group's choreography provided real entertainment. During dinner, a mentalist moved from table to table, leaving more than one guest speechless (and with a few unanswered questions!).

Then the long-awaited moment: the fireworks to the sounds of Adiemus by the Welsh composer Karl Jenkins, which ended as a crowning moment with the lighting of the clearly visible number 60.

In those few minutes, we all shared the same emotions with our faces turned up to the sky.

Towards the end of the evening, a multi-tiered cake was presented in the Agorà of Monteleone21 and cut after the group toast.

But what stayed in the heart was more the warm atmosphere than the show: feeling 'at home' among people you have known for years, and others you have met for the first time.

You could feel this special atmosphere everywhere: during the toasts, while chatting at the table, with applause at Giovanni's speech, and on the dance floor where the most persistent guests danced until late into the night!

Here’s to the next 60 years

The market is changing, and challenges won’t be in short supply, but one thing is rock-solid for us: the way we run the company, which got us here and which is built on real relationships, mutual trust, and solid work.

Thanks for coming, celebrating with us, and continuing to be part of our story.
